Parents/Carers

At Weston Rhyn Primary School, we believe that children do best when school and home work together.  Parents and carers play an important part in helping every child learn, grow and reach their full potential.

We always try our best, but sometimes things do not go as planned.  If you have any worries or concerns, please come and talk to us.  We are here to help.

We encourage parents and carers to take an active interest in their child’s learning by offering praise, encouragement and support, and by sharing any thoughts or concerns with the school.

Teachers are always happy to talk about your child.  If you need more time to discuss something, please make an appointment with your child’s class teacher.

Throughout the year, we hold parents’ evenings so that you can talk with teachers about your child’s progress.  We also invite families to special events, performances, displays and other activities that celebrate the children’s learning.  We love seeing parents and carers join us whenever they can.

There are many ways to support our school, whether through volunteering, or helping with school events and activities.

We want every parent and carer to feel welcome, valued and able to talk to us.  If there is ever something you are unhappy about, or you disagree with, please let us know so we can work together to find a solution.

At Weston Rhyn Primary School, we ask all our families to “talk to us, not about us”.  By working together with kindness, honesty and respect, we can give every child the very best experience at school.
